Cardinals RB Jonathan Dwyer arrested on domestic violence charge - CBSSports.com (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24713531/cardinals-rb-jonathan-dwyer-arrested-on-domestic-violence-charge)

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't straight up cut him.

The two altercations allegedly took place on July 21 and July 22 and Dwyer is facing a total of five charges: one count of aggravated assault causing a fracture, one count of aggravated assault involving a minor, two counts of criminal damage and one count of preventing someone from calling 911

"We became aware of these allegations this afternoon when notified by Phoenix police and are cooperating fully," the team said in a statement. "Given the serious nature of the allegations we have taken the immediate step to deactivate Jonathan from all team activities. We will continue to closely monitor this as it develops and evaluate additional information as it becomes available."

See, I don't believe this. I believe they were aware when it happened back in July. I don't believe for one second the NFL teams don't have people inside of police departments to notify them when something happens involving a player.

Just so people don't think I'm too crazy.

Adrian Peterson didn't just "go too far” research shows it's never okay to hit a child - Vox (http://www.vox.com/2014/9/17/6336209/adrian-peterson-son-physical-punishment)

As someone who was spanked... I suffer from depression and anxiety, I am prone to bouts of gambling addiction (no substances, thankfully) and can have an awful anger issues.

Is that a product of spanking or just bad genetic luck? Eh.

‘Personal conduct policy’ unfairly demonizes vast majority of NFL players who don’t hit - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/redskins/personal-conduct-policy-unfairly-demonizes-vast-majority-of-nfl-players-who-dont-hit/2014/09/16/258b8912-3de0-11e4-9587-5dafd96295f0_story.html)

Crazy how the NFL has become the whipping boy for society's woes.

Still bugs me to no end that in the Rice case there has been little to no outrage directed at the legal system for letting him off way too easy.

That's because the majority of the public are idiots with short attention span.

Glad to see him catch on with someone. Hope we are able to bring him back next year for preseason and see if he has improved.

I wouldn't say it is the majority. I think its just the loudest part of the population.

Yeah it's the dummies that have the most to say, and aren't afraid to chime in on just about everything.

i kinda wish we had 2 weekly threads - 1 to talk strictly football, match ups, injuries etc and the other to talk crime reports and suspension.

i dont intend to sound uncaring but im am getting real tired of turning on radio sports talk or espn and hearing 24/7 criminal and punishment stuff.
