Shit hitting the fan after Godell presser. That was an ugly press conference.
The worst moment IMO when one of the reporters asked Godell, "How is that one phone call from us got us the elevator video. You have a team of lawyers and staff and nobody could get teh video?"
His reply was awful. It was combative and wrong.
That was ugly.

Seems to me you are more afraid of the Giants than anyone else ,just remember guys it's not where you start it's where you finish that matters .

Thats a ridiculous statement. I don't think many people are looking at the Giants as a serious opponent right now.

How the Ray Rice scandal unfolded between the Baltimore Ravens, Roger Goodell and the NFL - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/11551518/how-ray-rice-scandal-unfolded-baltimore-ravens-roger-goodell-nfl)

The bombs are dropping now that the dust has cleared. Seems the Ravens aren't all that "classy" after all. I give Harbaugh credit for wanting to cut Rice immediately after seeing the video, but overuled by Biscotti and Newsome.

The truth ,this is band wagon BS .One leaves it just opens the doors for someone else because as much as people all ways want to take down the top dog the NFL is still #1 in pro sports .

So this is basically what I've been saying all along. Goodell has taken all the heat, whereas it seems that this was all the doing of the Ravens leadership.

I was in favor of Godell keeping his job, but after seeing that joke of a press conference today IMO it is time for him to leave. That was awful. The beginning of the presser Godell read his prepared speech and it was fine. But once the Q&A started Goodell lost it.
Goodell's smirk and cocky response to TMZ reporter was bad. Does Godell not get it? What an arrogant response.
Then once Goddell was challenged more on why the NFL did not get the elevator film, he started again with the ridiculous excuses and lies.
The crap about how the NFL only gets its investigation information from law enforcement. BULLSHIT!
The NFL office participated in the cover up. When I say cover up I am not talking about denying or covering up the crime, I am talking about trying to minimizing the crime, minimize the punishment and protect the brand. That is what they did wrong and refuse to admit it.

Yeah I felt pretty much the same way. Though I haven't seen the presser yet pretty much everyone has cited it as being painful to watch at best.

Personally I'm not one to root for people to loose there jobs but given his salary was something like $40 million I have a feeling he'll manage. Then again this was his dream job so for Goodell its probably about more than the money.

I agree with you but as Redskin fans I'm not sure if we have much room to talk trash about other teams owners :*(

Though at this point I'm just happy the team decided to draft Landry instead of AP. Can you imagine the s* storm of having the Redskin name controversy and the issues surrounding "Redskin Running Back Adrian Peterson" in an alternate universe.

Speaking of bad owners, some of you might get a kick out of this:

Personally at this point I'm terrified waking up one day to see a front page story saying something like:
