Looking at the listings and its looking like the Skins, AGAIN, are not on in Baltimore. F'ing sucks.
yes it does. i have yet been able to wake up knowing that i can enjoy a full football sunday in the comfort of my own home.
last week it rained saturday so we had to push the renaissance fest to sunday and i dvr'd the game so i didnt get to watch it until 8 pm.
anytime the ravens play, there cannot be a another nfl game on broadcast tv in balt... .. so anytime the ravens and skins play at the same time = guaranteed no skins game.
really wish i could have gotten direct tv in my "historic" building ..
i always recommend the skins bar in locust point that used to be known as sly fox (willey grunthier's (sp?) now))

I don't disagree at all with that point. But my point simply is that guys do change styles, and perhaps Kelly wil learn too.
The cold indifference to the nature and severity of the injury -- and it does come across that way -- is not going to endear him to guys in the locker room. And that matters.

i didnt hear the audio but im not interpreting it as kelly being uncaring as much as he doesnt want to know certain info so he doesnt have to talk/disclose certain info ... i could totally be wrong as i would have to hear the audio.
i believe nfl teams have to disclose a certain level of info re injuries on a weekly basis (i.e. pats sayins player X has a body injury ...) but if i was a coach, the less i know the less i dislcose the less i have to talk to the media about

Maybe, but I'd be surprised if the rules that govern disclosures of injuries and player status are dependent upon the head coach's personal knowledge of the nature and extent of the injury. Seems like that would allow for the rule to be rendered meaningless pretty easily.
He may have just meant that he doesn't get into the gory details with the trainers and physicians -- he just wants to know what he can expect from the player. Or he may be a complete jerkweed. Since I cannot stand the Eagles, I prefer to think the latter.

So I decided to watch, and man he's really an a**. Watch from 0:20 to 0:40, I bet you think it's worse when you see his body language and hear him.
WATCH: Chip Kelly press conference | NJ.com (http://www.nj.com/eagles/index.ssf/2014/09/watch_chip_kelly_press_conference.html)
Granted a lot of it is more about the the press but this was 20seconds in and the 2nd question. I can not imagine him handling the Washington media for 1 press conference.

Surely you know that most Baltimoreans HATE the Redskins. So why would a Baltimore TV station choose to air a Skins game? Answer: They wouldn't.
Two words: Sunday Ticket.

Ain't that the truth. I work in Baltimore so I commute sometimes to watch the game nearby. I found out that the Dave and Busters in the area plays Baltimore and Washington games in the sports bar. If they play at the same time, Baltimore gets the game over the speakers though, which sucks.
Although when Washington or Baltimore plays on different days (or one or the other has a 4pm kickoff) Washington gets the sound over the speakers. So it's not a total loss.

I actually don't mind Kelly's response regarding injuries... you get bombarded with them during press conferences.
I can appreciate only caring whether the guy is going to play or not.

I still don't understand why Baltimore fans even care about the Redskins.
