Back to RG3, I wish Shannahan would have never chosen RG3. RG3 deserves better. Redskins fans deserve Cousins. Keep wishing on a star and getting interceptions.

I love RG3, but I'm beginning to hate the fact that he was drafted here. Not only because of the fans who are so ready to give up on him after everything he's done for them, but also because of the fact that his chances for NFL success were probably smaller here than any other team. He deserves better.

I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning and they were criticizing the Raiders for a lack of vision and continuity, which reminded me of the Skins. Particularly with Griffin. After everything we give up to get him, two years in we hire a new head coach whose offense could not be less compatible with the skill set of the QB for whom we mortgaged so much. Ugh. So yeah, I feel bad for RG. That being said, I do believe he is mentally resilient and given the time to succeeed can still work out for us. I still believe.

Not sure we know that Gruden's offense will be incompatible with RG3.

The fans can give up on RG3 all they want. Who cares. The team on the other hand isn't going to give up so quickly. He'll have the fans eating out of his hand again if he plays well and wins games.

He's had three serious injuries to his legs and he's in his mid 20's. What's he going to be like when he's in his late 20's and early 30's when he's more susceptible to injuries? I think he's going to be the kind of player where it's always going to be something. On top of staying healthy, he's got to live up to the high expectations from the trade. Out of the three years he's been here, he's done it once. It's a what have you done for me lately league.

How? They invested heavily in wr's to get better players around him. That's more than what Tom Brady has and he's walking into the HOF.
