Lotus 09-24-2014, 03:56 PM Just what this board needed: another member of the Cult of Kirk. KI Skins Fan 09-24-2014, 04:00 PM First let me say this, I am not trying to bash RG3. I like the guy. I just thinks hes done. He cant stay healthy. He is not done after less than three years. There are a number of successful QB's who were hurt early in their careers. SmootSmack 09-24-2014, 04:00 PM First let me say this, I am not trying to bash RG3. I like the guy. I just thinks hes done. He cant stay healthy. But KC has 1 win out of I think 5 games he started. Dont take my word for that. But for someone that doesnt get to work with the starting offense all through the preseason and probably most of the season unless if the starter gets hurt. I think he has shown what he can accomplish. Imagine if he actually got to work with the starters during the training camps and all the practices. I hate to see what you think of people you are trying to bash gregkthompson 09-24-2014, 04:10 PM All I'm trying to say is lets give KC a chance. He is good, and he can only get better. But everyone is all about RG3 and they want to do is talk about when RG3 will be back and ready to play. My thoughts and I believe, it really doesnt matter what KC does or how he plays, when RG3 gets back and feeling good, he will be back in and KC will be warming the bench. WillH 09-24-2014, 04:11 PM I hate to see what you think of people you are trying to bash Smoot, did you take out a comment? Edit: Nevermind I found it, it was in different thread. But I guess it fits here better. On what basis are you questioning RG3's intelligence, because he's athletic? that seems like a weak premise. KI Skins Fan 09-24-2014, 04:16 PM I don't think he's ready to come back before Week 11-12 (partly my speculation, partly things I've been told) So here are the scenarios 1) KC is playing well and team is winning-why rush RG3 back and disturb the groove 2) KC is playing well and team is losing-if they're losing like out of it then why subject RG3 to unnecessary pain(and I don't think they'll be out of it in this division....I sure hope not) 3) KC is not playing well...WILL NEVER HAPPEN How well can KC be playing if the team is losing? That's like an NFL oxymoron. Anyhow, winning trumps all else. Even if KC is playing well and the team is losing, then he's still in imminent danger of being replaced by Robert when he returns. The obvious truth is that we can lose without KC and the applicable theory is that we might be able to win some games with Robert and his skill set. If the Skins were to keep a relatively healthy RGIII on the bench when they are losing, Robert would go ballistic. There is no way that Gruden's relationship with Robert wouldn't be damaged by doing that. rbanerjee23 09-24-2014, 04:29 PM After reading everyones comments, I cant believe what I have heard from most of you. Has RG3 really done anything for this team? Dont get me wrong, I like the guy. But he has pretty much been on the side line for most of all the seasons he has played in the NFL. KC has been there to take the reigns, and hasnt really let me down at all. He does pretty good for stepping in without working with the first string players. If it were up to me, I would keep him as the starter and wouldnt even look back. For RG3, I believe he is done. He cant stay healthy. This makes how many time he has been hurt? I believe 3 off the top of my head. If he has been heart than many time in the last couple of seasons hes played. In my opinion, I believe he cant stay healthy. Cousins' record has been 1-4...
