If Cousins plays well/keeps us competitive this season, do you think the Skins trade Cousins in the off season

If he does that , then why trade him ,trade the other one .

To let RG3 play out his contract and draft a QB? I dunno. I obviously know nothing about trade and draft dynamics but neither have the Skins in the past. Lol

Nope , and if he does he won't be any good . I like Bob but he dislocated it, he rushed back from the knee injury and look what happen .Let him heal !

His injury is not as serious as people want to make it out to be. Chill, his injury is the equivalent of shooting a jump shot and landing on someone's foot. your ankle rolls. HE will be in a cast 10 days.

It's way too early to tell if Cousins is the answer. But on paper -- our team is actually pretty good, and we can theoretically have a chance at playoffs and beyond. We have a top 5 running back / running game, two probowl WRs (and decent WR depth), a top-tier TE, and currently our defense looks legit against inferior talent.

We were just lacking good QB play -- to get the ball into our playmakers' hands. IF we have that, I see no reason for us to contend, and THIS year. We're not the Seahawks/Denver/Patriots, but we can certainly go far in our division.. All depends on Cousins, but if he plays just average, it shouldn't be hard to do okay this year.

Not even mentioning our improved return game, our Oline backups who could challenge starters (Moses/S.Long), Merriweather's return, Cofield coming back, ?P.Thomas, etc.

Also got to hand it to Gruden so far. Early to tell, but early take on his decisions to date have been pretty good. (1) Keep Cousins & also McCoy, (2) NOT drafting MLB but relying on K.Robinson instead, (3) Keeping Haslett (so far so good), (4) FA: Hatcher/Djax/A.Roberts - all good so far with reasonable cap hits, (5) FA - avoiding big splashes & getting depth like A.Davis / etc on special teams & R.Clark as a leader so far, (6) Tress Way, (7) Drafting R.Grant (and Murphy, Breeland & Moses may prove to be good pickups)... It just seems like with our injuries, our depth is good enough to keep us in contention, and prior years we sucked if one or two people went out.

I know about the years past, just meant this year
But since you bring it up Cleveland was another bad team that he beat
Last year he was not very good and he did not win a game
If Jacksonville would have had hpustons pass rush I'm sure that game would have been a different story
Anyway all I was saying is it's way too early to draw any conclusions on Capt. Kirk or this team yet although we should be two and oh with either quarterbackI love how every team we beat with Cousins is a bad team, it's just the Jags, Cleveland in 2012 was another bad team, etc. But Houston, one of the worst teams last season, that we lost with Griffin as our QB, is a "different story"?

I hope Griffin turns it around, but the spin here is ridiculous.

Don't forget:

Cleveland in 2012 was not in relief, he started that game.

In 2012 he came in relief against Atlanta and looked poor. No, don't forget there's more to Cousins' body of work than just "one game in relief". That was my point. Some good, some bad. Like with Griffin.

Of course there is more to Cousins body of work than the game I mentioned. If you read my previous remark in context, you'll see that I was responding to a specific statement from another post.

So let's go to that body of work and look at career numbers for Cap'n Kirk:
9 games
74.3 QBR
57.6% completions
6.7 ypa
10 / 10 TDs/INT

Last year Cousins' interception % of 4.5 was one of the worst in the league. For comparison, Eli Manning's was 4.9% and he led the league in picks.
