Meriweather is still a definite upgrade of Rambo. Pair him with Ihenacho and now the surprising play of Trenton Robinson, we don't look too bad in the Secondary.
Defense looked good all around (i know, it's the jags) but that's what a good defense is SUPPOSED to do to a team like that.
With Meriweather and Clark I like our safety combo, I absolutely think they are an upgrade over Clark and Rambo. But Meriweather, for the rest of his career, will always be one big hit away from an even longer suspension than his previous one. We're talking about his career being on the line. I trust that he's tried to change the way he plays, but it's not up to him at this point. The game is played too fast, mistakes will be made, the problem is any time the refs perceive him to make a mistake on a tackle he will pay in the form of flags, fines, and suspensions. We should know by now he needs to have a solid backup behind him. Rambo isn't that guy.
