I was amazed that call wasn't reversed. I thought it was pretty clear he was down by contact and the ball only came loose when the 2nd defender came in and hit him.

Yeah, that was a terrible call.

I think people are trying too hard to stick with the narrative that Griffin's playing style opens him up for injury. Rolling out and throwing on the run is something all QBs do, sometimes several times a game. It's unfortunate he landed wrong on that ankle, but injuries happen and sometimes they can't be prevented.

Its unfortunate some guys just cant stay healthy enough in the NFL. I think thats the fact we are facing. I dont think it has to do with style of play, offense, etc.

Love RG3, but 2 major injuries in different areas in 3 years is going to be tough to come back from. It sets us back even more, because of the learning curve of becoming a pocket passer.

Folks, Cousins has an opportunity of a lifetime right now. If he plays well and leads the team to a 9+ win season, the decision is made. If he struggles, we got tough choices to make.

I love RGIII and truly believe he has the skills and the brain to lead us to the Super Bowl but he has become damaged goods. I pray he will shut these haters up but now I am backing number 8 bc he is now QB1

I wouldn't say he's damaged goods. But we are talking about a track athlete that's on his 3rd major injury in 6 years? Where ever he's playing, that team MUST have a legit back-up QB if he's the starter.

Just saying it's all too common for fans to give up on players prematurely. Some guys take a couple of years to develop. Especially one that made a position change early on in Paul. And yeah, in a few years it's possible we could be saying the same for Rambo.

You're starting to worry me now, Matty. I never gave up on Paul because he has talent and he is a ST stalwart. But Rambo?! P-u-u-u-u-l-e-e-z! Not only can he not tackle at all but he doesn't play ST. He has little chance of surviving very long on the active roster, IMO.

When is the last time you saw any Redskins safety make two such pathetic attempts to tackle a player, resulting in in very long TD's, in consecutive games?

I won't matter if Haslett defends Rambo, Gruden can't risk that happening again. Now, we talking about Gruden's career. Trust me on this one; he will be gone from the active roster soon. Haslett might be able to talk Allen into keeping him on the PS.

You might not have given up on Paul but plenty of people did.

@RobCarlinCSN. Andre Roberts had a rush of 15+ yds, a reception of 15+ & punt return of 15+.. Last #Redskins to do that - my guy @BmitchliveCSN in 1999!

I'm kind of liking this Roberts guy. Not as flashy as some of the other acquisitions, just a really, really solid addition.

It just looks more awkward when he does it, for some reason. Like others have said, he just looks gangly out there

Rambo pre snap lack of hussle before the play was concerning. I dont think we ever had to worry about that from Niles Paul.

I agree. He is like a gazelle running in a herd of cape buffaloes; it seems as if the poor gazelle is bound to get hurt, one way or another.

It is such a shame that RGIII, a magnificent athlete, continues to have these severe injuries. I wish him a speedy, full recovery.
