Great win by the boys - how long has it been since we've seen something so great?

Agree with the disdain for Rambo - how he even made an NFL team is beyond me.

RGIII getting hurt gives me a bad "Mike Green" kind of feeling...

And for RG's ankle - I don't know who that announcer was, but for crying out loud, on the first replay, I said to my son - look at the way his ankle is sticking up there - that's an ankle! And the announcer after two replays was saying "Oh, he came down on his right leg". WTF?

Jaguars ain't much of a test, so it's a good sign that they slapped them down the way they did.

Next up is a good test against those damn Eagles.

I am glad we did not play down to their level, Our defense despite Rambo did play well.
I am really impressed with our running game and o-line run blocking. Despite how bad the Jags are, their defense and their from seven is considered decent. Plus add the way we ran against the Texans who have a very good front seven. With the improved pass game (Cousins) Gruden will have to tie a string to his finger to remind him to run the ball. This is a nice problem to have.

Him running outside the pocket, stiff arming a defender then throwing off balance to get a 12 yard completion could easily be considered reckless. That's just how he plays though, he always wants to extend the plays. And to be fair that's what the great ones do, but they also know when to scrap it and go to the next down.

IMO he is just not built to do what he did in college in the NFL. He is no Newton, Kap or Luck, those guys are built to with stand a few hits. RG has shown he just can't stay healthy trying to play the elusive QB that extends plays. In the NFL everyone is bigger faster and stronger, it's no where near as easy to get out of bounds as college. And after the knee surgery he easily lost at least one step if not two. And I think that's hard for him to take and understand.

All he did was roll out and throw on the run, just like 1,000 other QB's did this weekend.

I think people are trying too hard to stick with the narrative that Griffin's playing style opens him up for injury. Rolling out and throwing on the run is something all QBs do, sometimes several times a game. It's unfortunate he landed wrong on that ankle, but injuries happen and sometimes they can't be prevented.

My last comment on RG3 is that if DJax holds on to that ball or the refs get the call right, I wonder what could have happened.

Moving on, I'll be curious to see what the Iggles o-line looks like tonight. Hopefully we can put pressure on Foles and keep McCoy in check next week.

I was amazed that call wasn't reversed. I thought it was pretty clear he was down by contact and the ball only came loose when the 2nd defender came in and hit him.

@RobCarlinCSN. Andre Roberts had a rush of 15+ yds, a reception of 15+ & punt return of 15+.. Last #Redskins to do that - my guy @BmitchliveCSN in 1999!

Paul has been impressive. Another guy that would have been cut long ago if it were up to the fans.

I'd like to think that wasn't a reference to Rambo.

Just saying it's all too common for fans to give up on players prematurely. Some guys take a couple of years to develop. Especially one that made a position change early on in Paul. And yeah, in a few years it's possible we could be saying the same for Rambo.
