Leaving Ray Rice out for just a min . Lets do some what if's ,what if some of the accusations thrown at some of these stars aren't true ? You make 11 million a year and a women says he hit me or an ex ......and many of you who have them have bitch about them for lying ,an ex says he abused my child ,and then find our months hell maybe even a year or two later it's not true , what then ?I ask because I know of a case similar and before the others jump me , NO I don,t believe in hitting kids or women and the ones that do should be fully prosecuted ,period .What if the accusations are not true ?
Hey, I'm with you. I've been railing against the dangers of the Court of Public Opinion and the type of people that push this stuff, the ways they do it, etc.
I was attacked for comparing the redskins name controversy to beating women and children. LOL.
It's not popular to point that stuff out... People don't like it. Due process is only supported when you're the one being accused of things.
Look at the number of cases of convicted (CONVICTED) women abusers since Goodell took over. **NOW** it's an issue?
Yes, it's a complete lack of decency on the NFL's part. Partly due to incompetence, partly due to greed, and I imagine partly do to just not caring.
But there's a ridiculous amount of hypocrisy in this story among the general public. It took a video of Rice actually striking her for this to reach this level - why? This has been a problem in this league for DECADES - now all the sudden the righteous are up in arms?
It's laughable.
