Okay someone get me up to speed on this. Is she representing somebody who is coming forward with a claim, was she abused herself, or is she addressing the league policy in general? I guess I could go to the conference myself but apparently its minutes away right.

While she has a law degree, I do not think she is a trial lawyer. She is more of a spokesperson for victims. She loves to be in front of the camera.

Why dont you go on over there and represent. If there is a Q&A just have you question ready, the 3rd one.

Lol, too late plus it wasn't too long ago when Atlanta was competing with LA for worst traffic in America so no thanks to running across town.

Apparently lawyer is pretty much an ambulance chaser so that doesn't help the cause.

surprised Florio hasnt written an article on PFT blaming the Skins name on the rise of domestic violence and child abuse issues.

Tell ya, kinda funny how that issue goes away when games start being played and real crimes start occuring.

I'm sure no one will say this, but these issues with Rice and Peterson, and the way the Ravens and Vikings have mishandled their situation, make the Redskins name controversy so insignificant IMO.

I have not heard anyone mention it, but maybe someone has, but I wonder the % of these violent incidents involves alcohol? I bet most if not all do. Alcohol the legal drug that kills more people than all drugs combined. Maybe these player need to not drink to excess?

Yeah and Budweiser sticking their nose into things is a joke.

Press conference for new domestic violence allegations towards Brandon Marshall is about as exciting as watching paint dry. I'll wait for the cliff notes. Though why the hell is the guy on the right wearing sun glasses? Unless he has what Richard Belzer where his eyes are extremely sensitive to light there's no good reason to wear shades in doors never mind at a major press conference.

Yeah and Budweiser sticking their nose into things is a joke.

Thats kind of what I was afraid of. We don't need people to sensationalize it anymore than necessary. You already have Ray Rice apologist trying to accuse every woman that comes forward as gold diggers and a con artist so if possible I'd like the issue to avoid as many credibility problems as possible.

I was thinking the same thing until I saw this (http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/snyder-only-will-respond-to-nickname-controversy-when-corporate-dollars-go-131932695.html). Just when everybody seems to forget, someone's gotta remind them. I also liked how he pretty much laid out the plan that probably has the best chance of getting the name changed.

That was my first thought when Radisson pulled their money. If the people who want our name changed really want that to happen they need to bring it home to Fedex and Bon Secours among others. I actually think both those corporations would be sensitive to that type action. It would be interesting to see if they try that

I think the money gives the victim more reason to hide the abuse than to falsely accuse a NFL player. Especially now that careers are at stake. A silent victim can receive a lot of compensatory pay but if the accused suddenly has no income then what does a fake victim gain?

Fame , take the Duke Lacrosse team ,hell even the teachers came out and ask for them to all be dismissed !

47 players have been convicted of assault charges against women since Goodell came into power.

None have them prior to Rice resulted in more than a 1 game suspension.

Yeah.

Is Goodell in the Witness Protection Program? That man has been hiding under his desk since that horrible interview.
