I don't care how the first drive goes as long as it ends in 6.

I'd like us to go ahead and start Long at rg this weekend. I think it could be an improvement.

So would starting me, you, any of the six brady kids or the easter bunny.

Washington Redskins ‏@Redskins 42s
Gruden: TE J. Reed, DL K. Golston are doubtful for Sunday's game vs. Jaguars; CB T. Porter is out.

Washington Redskins ‏@Redskins 6s
Gruden on home opener Sunday: "We need to try to strike fast and strike early, and try to get the home fans in it early."

Would you prefer a fast strike, or a long run based drive as the first possession?

I would prefer Tracy Porter beaten with a stick.

I just hope I don't wind up looking like Oscar the Grouch by the end of this game!

Oh my word...baby on the way and I'm already thinking about Sesame Street, lol!

Sunday's game reminded me of that a lot. In Gibbs' first five games, we beat people on the field but not on the scoreboard. The reason was stupid errors. It all was just like the Texans game, where we won the game on the field but not on the scoreboard.

Once Gibbs got the errors cleaned up, the rest was glorious history.

Let's see if Gruden can clean things up.

Gibbs was also trying to go with an "Air Coryell" type of offense at first. Once he discovered that The Redskins could dominate by using the run game with Riggo and The Hogs, things turned around.

I remember I went to the SF game in 1981, Gibbs first year. Theismann was throwing the ball like every play and the fans were just relentlessly booing the hell out of everyone. Several fans had bags over their heads. lol.

I think we are going to lose pretty handily. The Jags are better on offense with competent qb play, and their D is up and coming. We are still a work in progress. Will be so happy to be wrong if that's not the case.
