PSUSkinsFan21 04-22-2005, 03:55 PM Seeing how things keep changing just proves that nobody really has a clue as to what will happen, including all the "experts"..... I agree, this year it seems like nobody knows what to expect, but I think that's more a product of this draft than anything. I can't in my memory remember a draft with so much uncertainty going into Friday afternoon. And I don't just mean a little uncertainty here or there........I mean questions from top to bottom in this draft. Usually by now we not only know who the #1 pick will be, but we know what contract the team and the pick have already agreed to. Last year by this point we pretty much all were certain that it would be one of two guys for us (Winslow or Taylor). This year, even us die hard fans can't figure it out. It could legitimately be 5 or 6 different players at #9, and that's not even taking into account the possibility of trading. I actually think the "experts" have probably been on top of things, but everything is so up in the air that no team is 100% sure what they are going to do tomorrow. Despite the lack of superstars in this draft, this could very well turn out to be one of the most exciting drafts to watch in a very long time. I predict a ton of trades, and some real shockers that nobody will have expected. |
