If I was a Rice advisor or Ravens FO guy I would consider having Rice walking away from the game for at least year. If the Ravens cut him, no one will touch him until next year and it will be at league minimum. Mathis is anything but underrated. He led the league in sacks last year.

Definitely a huge loss for them. The chiefs had two players lost for the season as well with Achilles injuries, Derrick Johnson and a DL man whose name escapes me.
