When I first saw the original I thought Rice would get 8 weeks to a season. Now I can't see how he doesn't get a minimum of a season.

Also I wonder who TMZ had to pay to get the 2nd video and why the police were keeping it under wraps.

See my post above for the answer to that question. Simple math really...
Rutgers/NJ + All pro NFL RB = get away with shit in AC.

According to this report. The NFL had the same access to the evidence that the police had.

What Should The NFL Do With Ray Rice? - AOL On (http://on.aol.com/video/what-should-the-nfl-do-with-ray-rice--518405004)

TLDR- they are fucking lying. (which we all knew anyways)

I find it interesting that ESPN has pulled the video from their site with Schefter. Luckily this was on a mirror.

I think all they did was just put up a more current video with Schefter

The entire thing is just effed up. How a guy can knock out a woman on camera and be walking free is just unbelievable.

I would suggest that had you or I (or Chico, Hijinx, mredskins, etc.) done it, we would likely not be "walking free" right now.

I still can't get over the fact that:

The prosecutor sees this video
Decides to charge Rice with a lesser misdemeanor
The grand Jury sees video and ups the charges to a felony
Then the prosecutor plea bargains the charges down to a misdemeanor again
Then Rice rejects a plea deal, goes into a pretrial program to avoid ANY jail time

I just don't understand how this happens.

Edit: Also it is really sad that this is the top story the Monday of week 1.

If I had to guess, it happens because Ray Rice is a big name with disposable income that has a job that gives him protection. Organizations protecting their players are nothing new, players are nothing if not investments. The more money you have = the better lawyers you have access to = the easier you get off. The average citizen gets none of those things because they don't have the money to afford it.

Actually on JR's website if you use code word Warpath he will give you a pretty nice discount.
