I didn't think their D actually looked all that bad today. As in they were just very bad, not all time bad like last year.

Hell of a stop by Denver though.

Drew Brees looked good in San Diego by year 4. Even before that he three for 3000 yards in his second year which in the early 2000's was actually respectable.

He was good in San Diego. He wasn't great until year 6 though, like you said, in NO. But most elite QB's need elite organizations to truly shine, and he didn't have that until New Orleans.

Drew Brees was actually labeled a borderline bust for 90% of the time he was in San Diego. He didn't take off until he hooked up with Sean Payton in New Orleans.

Man, you gotta take the points in that situation.
