Yup. If we haven't I'm gonna be pissed
Still can't believe the NFL won't let Snyder buy one. Buying playoff spots is a form of free speech.

Everyone knows we're going to be playing Jacksonville for the NFC title.

And beat the Cowboys for the super bowl.

It's because Snyder's been a bad little boy... you know, because of the bad language he uses. Goodell subsequently has sent him to the corner by denying all of Snyder's requests for a playoff spot. Only when Danny tells Daddy he'll be a good boy again will he get his playoff buying privileges back. Until then, he has to earn spots the hard way.
Am I joking, you ask? Of course. Not only is it crazy for me to assume the NFL hands out playoff spots, Goodell has also been outspoken in his support for the name "Redskins."
Am I really joking, you ask? Of course. :D

Thanks. Damn thats beyond me. Im sure they have it so its difficult or everyone would go for the cheaper way. Oh well. I dont have a mac and im not sure what dongle means?
a dongle is just a word for something that plugs into your computer and hangs off the end, you can use adapter in this case :)
I have something like this for my mac:
http://amzn.com/B00C28L51G
Plug one end into the mac, the other end plugs into the HDMI cable to my tv. I can then put anything I want on my mac on the TV and it'll pass sound :)
the problem is I don't know jack crap about the ipads so I have no idea how that works with an ipad or what adapters you have available.
it looks like you can definitely get an adapter to go from your iPad to your TV via HDMI:
How to Connect Your iPad to Your TV (http://ipad.about.com/od/iPad_Guide/a/How-To-Connect-Your-Ipad-To-Your-Tv.htm)
Apple also sells a VGA adapter so you can run it to a monitor or an older TV, as well as providing an S Video/composite cables:
how do you connect the iPad to a TV to watch movies? - Apple Store (U.S.) (http://store.apple.com/us/question/answers/product/MC552ZM/B/how-do-you-connect-the-ipad-to-a-tv-to-watch-movies/Q9YAH2CTY9XHPXHKP)
Generally speaking I'm always willing to help with this stuff, but I simply don't have an iPad to test with and I've never done it before so I can't make any specific recommendations that I'd feel comfortable knowing you spent money on :)
But, generally speaking again... if you have a way to put the picture from your iPad on your tv (as outlined above) then you can run the app and have it play on your TV. The AppleTV support is a specific case and there's some reason it doesn't work - my two guesses, as listed before, are a format/resolution issue or AppleTV explicitly blocking it at DirecTV's request. If you can get your picture up there via one of those adapters I fail to see why it wouldn't work.

by the way, punch, it looks like you can get the adapter for $12 on amazon :)
http://amzn.com/B00979QONC
you can probably go snag one at best buy before the game today if you want, but you'll probably pay more to get it in the store.
it says it supports all generations of the iPad and it transmits up to 1080P. i have no idea how an ipad works in terms of putting the picture on the TV (i use laptops, they treat the TV like a second monitor and I just drag things onto it) but hey, for 12$ it's worth trying to figure out :)

Here's a quick example of hooking it up
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ew8arv5bAf0
One thing I noticed is it doesn't seem to be full screen... not really sure what your options are there, it may just depend on the content/app your streaming...
Google/youtube ipad to TV hdmi full screen, there are a lot of blogs/forums/videos out there. I unfortunately don't have time to weed through them.
