Kyle doesn't even want to be there this year, but you gotta put food on the table.

Anyway, I'm staying out of this conversation for personal reasons.

Just looking forward to some football again. 11 days is too long a wait between games

SS, any insight about working with Johnny foosball? good, bad?

I think its time to move on from last year and the Shannys, that being said, I think its pretty clear how it ended last year, that the disfunction was all Dad and not Son. The blame was clearly Mike Shanny, like 99% to 1%. I think Kyle will be a solid O cordinator once he's in a good situation, brown clearly are not that situation.

I don't buy the perspective in which the problem was all Mike and Kyle was just an innocent bystander. It doesn't make sense in terms of family dynamics and human psychology. It also demeans Kyle, who is an active professional in his own right, not just a fly on the wall or a yes man for daddy. The team imploded for off-field reasons and Kyle deserves at least some of the blame for that.

The Shanahans did us really wrong and I will continue to dislike them for this reason.

There are other owners far friendlier with their players than Snyder is with RGIII, but hey, people are gonna believe what they want.

Hopefully they carry him off the field Jim Zorn style.

I would agree with that, but that's probably developed over a period of time/success.

I tend to think whichever Shanahan sat Griffin unintentionally did us a huge favor. I think it drove the point home to him that him risking getting hurt for 1 play's gain isn't worth it. And IF they got that to settle into Griffin's mentality, then a "by any means necessary" rule applies. I also think they got us past the next stage in Snyder's development, which was bringing in a true GM, and a respectable football structure. So from a long term perspective, I can overlook the end of cycle tantrum that they put out there.

And this from a guy who didn't want Shanny in the first place.

I haven't asked him about it, to be honest I haven't really talked to him at all since like March

Dang CRed, I've been told that I can find a silver lining in anything but you just outdid me by a mile.

I find it difficult to believe that with all of the opportunities he's had, RGIII finally learned to be safe was when he was not really hurt, under at least one lame duck coach who clearly wanted to leave a mess in his wake.

None of us were behind closed doors and this Shanahan business is in the past, anyway, so I'll let it go. But IMO "Shanahan" should be a four-letter word in Redskinsland for 2 reasons, not just one.

As for 2014, I hope the Cleveland offense finds a way to finish 33rd.

Kyles play calling sucks buttermilk thru a radiator hose.
I'll never forget when he used Cooley to carry the ball as a fullback two plays in a row.
What a marooon........

Kyle is like the top of my buttcrack: he has the stink even if he didn't do the actual pooping.

F@#k Kyle.
