I'm going to slightly bend the rule, and not pick a player but instead say Bobby Beathard belongs in the hall of fame

How about Jack Kent Cooke? If he got in I'm sure it was be an awkward situation for Snyder and the Cooke family. lol.

I think Manley, Clark, Mann and Jacoby are all guys that get mentioned. Out of that group I think Jacoby is most deserving. Played and started on 4 SB teams both at guard and tackle. He was a great player for a long time. If Dexter had somehow kept himself clean and played here a few more years perhaps. He still has over 100 sacks I believe and had 18 in one season.

Joe Jacoby should already be there.

BMitch should also make it some day.

Jacoby definitely should be. His match ups with LT were great and he consistently dominated his man. It's ridiculous that JKC isn't in but he doesn't have a voting member putting his name up and campaigning for him. If the committee changes the procedures to allow a special contributor per year then Beathard will get in after Sabol and Tex Schram. However, I don't think any player will get in until London Fletcher and he won't be first ballot.

I have no memory of the redskins pre 1994, so I'm just not aware of who's lacking in recognition from the earlier years.

So the next person in my mind is Mitchell. Unfortunately I think his role as a 3rd down back and special teams player is going to keep him form getting serious consideration. :(
