Man, between the concussions and this, people (JR) grabbing Wes Welker in fantasy leagues probably are gonna be dumping him soon.
Just waived him.

CrustyRedskin 09-02-2014, 07:57 PM Source: Welker took Molly at the Kentucky Derby. It had been cut with amphetamines. Same situation as Orlando Scandrick. :pimp: He must not have bet on Cali Chrome. Lol that Kentucky derby outfit makes total sense now. Damn Von miller must be proud NC_Skins 09-02-2014, 08:24 PM Just waived him. ...he's still on your roster. Just like a liar...err...lawyer. :laughing- CrustyRedskin 09-02-2014, 08:28 PM Anyone watching Outside the Lines..... Dirtbag59 09-02-2014, 08:31 PM Cowboys plan to add Michael Sam to practice squad | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/09/02/cowboys-plan-to-add-michael-sam-to-practice-squad/) NOOOOOOOO! Michael you musnt. Please stay away from the dark side. cLyxmD_UAK4 Dirtbag59 09-02-2014, 08:48 PM Speaking of shame. Wes Welker has been suspended 4 games. Wes Welker of Denver Broncos suspended four games for use of amphetamines - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11455813/wes-welker-denver-broncos-suspended-four-games-use-amphetamines) At the risk of sounding like Barry Bonds with his "I don't believe steroids can help eye-hand coordination [and] technically hit a baseball" quote, I don't think amphetamines should be considered a PED. I take adderall, which might explain a lot, and I can tell that while it does give you energy, to use it during any strenuous physical activity is practically suicide. Even the most hyper under the influence types would be winded in a short period of time. Technically amphetamines work differently on different people. For me it tends to calm me down, especially after the 30 minute mark. I still get an energy boost but at the same time I become a lot quieter. In fact my own Mothers words from when I was a kid were 'you are so much more pleasant when you've taken your adderall.' Thanks Mom. However from what I understand the majority of people similar drugs will only get the energy boost and end up bouncing off the walls for the however long the drug is in their system. I didn't need a doctor to tell me back in High School that taking amphetamines late enough where they would still be in my system after school for football practice was a bad idea. Even if I discounted the risk of heat stroke and dehydration, the shot to any semblance of physical endurance alone was reason enough. Chico23231 09-02-2014, 09:03 PM Just waived him. NC_Skins 09-02-2014, 10:05 PM Greg Robinson not in Week One starting lineup | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/09/02/greg-robinson-not-in-week-one-starting-lineup/) Wait? That's what the Rams have been doing with our picks? They drafted a OL at #2 that isn't even going to start week one. :laughing2 Guess they should have went with the Matthews kid. He's starting at LT come week 1. |
