Yes but the RGII trade has a big impact on that equation. MTK 08-11-2014, 11:39 AM Winning takes care of everything and it's ultimately what everyone is judged on. Griffin can be a good to very good QB and win plenty of games. I don't think he needs to be "elite". He just needs to win. Dirtbag59 08-11-2014, 12:02 PM Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says photos are a misrepresentation | Dallas Morning News (http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/2014/08/cowboys-owner-jerry-jones-says-salacious-photos-are-a-misrepresentation.html/) :Smoker: Lol, good times in Jerry land. Ironically enough I always figured he was single at this point, mainly because of that commercial where he bragged about having a hot tub in the shape of Texas. After all, married guys don't brag about hot tubs unless they want to talk about joint pain. I found another article on TMZ, copy and pasted so people don't have to feel dirty about visiting TMZ. Also can't stop laughing at the fact they took a giant tour bus with the Cowboys logo right on the side to a strip club. It's like they wanted to get caught. Jerry Jones' Son Stephen -- Hey Ladies, Let's Party ... On My Dallas Cowboys Bus!! | TMZ.com (http://www.tmz.com/2014/08/06/dallas-cowboys-jerry-jones-son-stephen-team-bus-sunset-strip-video/) http://ll-media.tmz.com/2014/08/06/080614-cowboys-bus-launch-v3-3.jpg The Dallas Cowboys finally played like champs last night -- not on a football field, but on the Sunset Strip ... where Jerry Jones' son parked a giant team bus outside a nightclub and proceeded to pull a bunch of hot chicks. None of the Cowboys players were there, but Stephen Jones -- Jerry's son and the team's Director of Player Personnel -- led what appeared to be a group of team staffers into Bootsy Bellows nightclub. Training camp is about 90 minutes north of L.A. ... so looks like they were taking a party break. Stephen didn't have anything to say about the big Cowboys news yesterday -- an alleged extortion plot involving pics of his father with two women. But the best part of this clip ... is the scene ON the bus after they leave the club. The Cowboys staff is holding court with a bevy of club chicks ... the shades come down, and then the bus pulls out. By the way, they did have a guide -- FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, who definitely knows his way around Hollywood hot spots (we see him out a lot in the off-season). How 'bout dem Cowboys! http://ll-media.tmz.com/2014/08/06/080614-cowboys-bus-sub-3.jpg mredskins 08-11-2014, 12:51 PM Winning takes care of everything and it's ultimately what everyone is judged on. Correct, but after what we gave up for that trade the generally consistence is RGIII better turn out to be elite. In order for us to have a playoff run this year RGIII got be pretty close to elite. This isn't Seattle where Wilson is being asked to be good and the better parts of that team care the load. In WAS a lot if not at all hinges on RGII's "eliteness" for this years team's ability to capture wins. mredskins 08-11-2014, 12:55 PM Lol, good times in Jerry land. How 'bout dem Cowboys! http://ll-media.tmz.com/2014/08/06/080614-cowboys-bus-sub-3.jpg Wow! Rich guys like to party and enjoy strippers. Other then Jerry's wife who cares. I have gone to strip clubs as a married man and my wife knows. Honestly the best place for a married man to go and not get laid is most likely a strip club. They want your $ not your cock. Chico23231 08-11-2014, 01:04 PM the extortion plot thing...unless someone was holding a gun off camera when those pictures were taken, then who cares? Is that the new excuse now? Put that up there with he's going to rehab, my twitter was hacked, etc. Dont put yourself in those situations to begin with, Jerry got some splaining to do imo Defensewins 08-11-2014, 01:27 PM Correct, but after what we gave up for that trade the generally consistence is RGIII better turn out to be elite. In WAS a lot if not at all hinges on RGII's "eliteness" for this years team's ability to capture wins. IMO the team could improve just enough around RGIII that he might not need to carry the entire team. Secondary, Offensive line and covering kicks is not an insurmountable list of areas that need improvement. Plugging the holes that made the ship sink last year in combination with RGIII improvement (RGIII not having to be elite) could be enough to get us in the playoffs. Our divisional opponents are not elite. mredskins 08-11-2014, 01:33 PM IMO the team could improve just enough around RGIII that he might not need to carry the entire team. Our divisional opponents are not elite. True I agree with that as well. I guess I was more saying if the other parts didn't improve then we need a lot out of RGIII. Lotus 08-11-2014, 01:49 PM We picked RGIII #2 overall in the draft. While he is young and and in a new system right now, he had better become elite sooner or later. You don't want to spend the #2 pick on a non-elite player. But I agree with those who say what he needs to do more than anything this year is just win. |
