He who shall not be named has spoken (http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/former-gm--dan-snyder-might-drop-redskins-name-for-new-stadium--super-bowl-144942689.html) on the issue of the name, and I unfortunately think he makes a solid point.

Not to say that I think Snyder would sell out the team name, but I could definitely see him giving in to all the pressure (real or conceived) if and only if he gets some major concessions from the NFL/DC government/etc.

Yeah, I'm sure Snyder has his price. It would be very hard for him to say no to a new stadium and the Superbowl, IMO.
Also, FU Cerrato.

Did Cerrato really provide any new insight? And no, I wouldn't trust any judgement call that ole "sacks n stuff" has to say. He's just trying to say things to get airtime, now. imo.

Blogger hired to defend Redskins name resigns - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/redskins/blogger-hired-to-defend-redskins-name-resigns/2014/07/08/133f721e-06b3-11e4-9a71-264773a2ffc8_story.html)
I love the sentence in this article that says, "Redskins owner Dan Snyder has vowed not to change the name but is facing unprecedented opposition from those who consider it a racial slur."
What it should have said is that Snyder is facing unprececedented opposition from the "smallest of minorities of people in the country" who consider it a racial slur. But "unprececedented opposition" sounds more powerful.
The propaganda on this just continues to be amazing to me.

He probably got pressure from his liberal buddies. Craziness!
I hope Snyder doesn't cave. Fight it to the end.
