Use common sense, don't buy from new sellers with little or no feedback, that's a huge red flag. Also stay away from people who don't use paypal and just want money orders, another big red flag. Also don't be afraid to ask the seller questions before you bid, and always, always check out their feedback. It's very easy to pick up on trends, crappy item quality, long shipping times, etc. Krills 04-07-2005, 11:05 AM Why is there a "Free Falcon's Jersey" web banner on the top of this page? No one on this board should want a Falcon's jersey. backrow 04-07-2005, 11:56 AM I thought this was a thread about the history of the Redskins jersey. Turns out it's just one buyer's purchasing problem. Note to self: Never, ever shop Ebay! amorentz 04-07-2005, 12:12 PM Ebay offers protection for their items, but it is only minor. Additionally if they are a verified PayPal customer, I believe you have protection up to $1000. Try to stop payment on this, or at the very least notify Ebay and PayPal (if used). You have a very solid breach of contract case due to "material differences." You should be able to get your money back if it is worth it to you. SKINSnCANES 04-09-2005, 12:15 AM hey does anyone here know it means when the size has a +2 next to it. EX. "LG +2" or "XL+2" I want to order some jerseys but I want to know what that means first. I emailed the guy but he never emailed me back That Guy 04-09-2005, 04:28 AM I thought this was a thread about the history of the Redskins jersey. Turns out it's just one buyer's purchasing problem. Note to self: Never, ever shop Ebay! always shop ebay ;) just be smart, do a little checking, AND USE A CREDIT CARD, that way you can stop payment and its not your problem. music gear is SERIOUSLY overpriced, and on ebay i can get $2k-$2.5k guitars for 900$ among other things :) BossHog 04-10-2005, 05:12 PM I'm laughing so hard right now. I can't even tpye! :oink: skinsguy 04-10-2005, 08:11 PM Knock on wood..I have never had any trouble with Ebay..but I carefully research the item I am interested in..not to mention the seller's history. I've found some people screw ya on the shipping! For instance..I was bored and decided to look at tennis shoes on ebay. I found one pair that was "BUY IT NOW" for $1! I was like...what th???? Scrolled down to find the shipping was $110 dollars! That to me spells rip off! |
