i really didnt know who brown or scott campbell were before SS talked about them when we had our FO shakeup after last season.

i took a lot of solace in the fact that SS really liked them and it seemed they were coveted by other teams.

my initial thought is the motivation for brown leaving -

was it a chance to move up in title vs not liking yet another regime chance (w perhaps gruden wanting to bring in some of his ppl)?

why didnt they promote him in title to block talks?

i forget what we did after shanny left but i thought we promoted them both?

lots of questions, im sure some will be answered in time, others will be kept behind closed doors.

I'm ready for some new thinking in that position.
Its not like he has helped us into the playoffs for the past six years.

Thank you. I don't get why people think it's a big loss. We need change

I don't know if it was good to just let him leave rather than convincing him to stay, but if he had significant duties and responsibilities- he'll at least need to be replaced. And that should be the Redskins' focus. Morocco Brown is gone. Time to move on from him.

we were told 5 months ago that he was well qualified and an important piece of our FO going forward ... now that piece just gets up and leaves us? odd handling it seems.

I don't know what to think about Brown leaving, but it's like with Haslett- fair or not, you have to go bottomline and judge by performance. The trades and FA decisions have been hit and miss, which is mediocre.

... I was worried more when I thought he was involved in this last draft because I thought the strategy and execution in this last draft was well done especially considering the lack of 1st rounder.

This is the upheaval time for personnel departments around the league. Hope he succeeds in Cleveland.

Meh. I'm not sold on this current staff or front office. Tampa Bay 2: Without the Super Bowl

Any way you feel about it - it's still a much better upgrade than the previous front office setup- whenever that officially ended.

The previous front office setup could be the biggest problem of the Redskins in the last 10 - 15 years.
