I have to say, given other needs, I wouldn't have sought this out, but watching his highlights, this kid is always looking for daylight. Daylight might end up being a good nickname for him - he has wheels and enough juice to make guys miss tackles. Looking forward to seeing him compete.

I saw on the draft reports that his agility was considered top tier but I was blown away watching his highlights.

Was he a return man in college?

his highlights are great...just hoping we can schedule Kansas & Louisianna-Monroe next year.
(I tease, I tease)
he does look like a game breaker and he's patient to let his blocks set up.
Good speed, vision and patience....I like him a lot and I think this does spell the end of Royster as well.

The highlights show just how nasty he is when he see's a hole his gone. He has speed and wiggle like the great Barry Sanders. Now with that said he will be facing better defenses in the NFL. But this was a good value pick for insurance for Alfred Morris.

Just some random facts. Averaged over 7 ypc last 2 seasons while rushing for over a 1,000 yards each time. Also transferred to Baylor from Oregon so the athleticism makes sense.

RGIII Really Wanted the Redskins to Draft Lache Seastrunk - Hogs Haven (http://www.hogshaven.com/2014/5/11/5705012/rgiii-really-wanted-the-redskins-to-draft-lache-seastrunk)
I rank acquiring friends/former teammates of key players a little bit under the taboo of drafting relatives of key players, with exceptions for players like the Pouncey brothers or maybe if you had a chance to get Clay and Jake Matthews. Lest of course one doesn't care to learn from Prop Joe's mistakes (http://youtu.be/7PR3QRg4Em0?t=52s).
Mainly because if they're a long shot to make the roster and you cut their friend/brother/cousin, basically it feels like more risk then reward. No doubt Seastrunk has more then enough talent to make the team on his own merrits but it just feels like unnecessary pressure.

Re: the "needs" argument against this pick.
In the 6th you aren't drafting players of any specific need. Other than for special teams you're drafting bpa.
