If we cant trade him, and have the cap room to keep him; I say keep him. With it being a contract year, I would be willing to bet he would perform pretty well. Then we will just be smart enough to let him go after that. Him and Moss would be neck and neck as #1's if we dont draft anyone, but I just dont think we should let him walk.
Now ya know....that would be interesting if we did for some reason keep him. I bet he would try his best to improve from the past couple of seasons. If the guy could go back to playing like he did in his rookie year, then I would be more than happy to keep him...but something tells me that probably won't happen.

he also has a bad work habit
I guess that's why he consistantly stayed after practice and caught an extra 100-200 balls a day, that shitty work ethic of his. Rod Gardner isn't as bad as the media makes him look. He makes the easy balls look hard, and the hard balls look easy.

I believe they will settle for a 4th rounder on draft day. He has been way too inconsistent.

Gibbs talks like Gardner will remain a 'Skin if we don't recieve equal value in a trade. :oink:

He'll be traded the next time Charles Rogers gets hurt.

There's a reason Moss was being moved to #3. Moss is quick, and he can stretch defenses, but he's not a #1 in my eyes. Peerless Price II.
Peerless Price put up numbers because he was opposite Moulds and couldnt do anything as a number one. Moss was the number one last year. He made big plays whenever Pennington threw him the ball, the problem is Chad never threw him the ball. For whatever reason they didnt hookup often. When Chad went down, Moss' numbers went up.
I think that Moss could work out well here. I agree that Moss needs to be paired up with someoen else and isnt the type of guy that draws a double team everytime. With that said, it looks like our lineup is setup the way the Pats was last year. We have five above average receivers. We can move teh ball around, keep the defenses guessing. If you have a bunch of receivers the other team has to respect, and give moss the option to run free, hes going to make plays. THe guy is a playmaker.

problem is we'll only have two of those mediocre WRs on the field at a time.
