I think we'll move him on draft day, if not who knows, maybe we cut him outright and save ourselves $2M. I don't see him coming back.

I agree, someones hand will be forced on draft day, don't see him coming back, and don't want him coming back.

I see no reason why he wouldn't be our #1 if he stayed.

His teammates named him 50/50 - Not us. 'nuff said.

Red Rob is right. If he has that "contract year" type effort on the field then why not keep him and then let him go next year. However that is a big "IF", maybe to risky to keep him around as far as team chemistry goes....

There might be somebody out there who needs a receiver to catch at least 50% of the passes, so they might be holding out to force the prices to be lowered that Gardner is asking for. I don't see us keeping Rod Gardner at all...in fact, I will be extremely surprised if we kept him.

Maybe they should suck it up and take a 4th if they really wanna move him. I don't really know what they should do with him.

I dont think that there is any chance that he could be our #1 receiver next year. Gibbs won't give a position that needs to "built around" to a guy who is going to be heading down the road the first chance he gets. He is gone.

I don't think a 4th rounder would adequately compensate us. 4th rounders are about 25% likely to stay in the league for more than 5 years. Gardner is entering a contract year and isn't a high priced #2 wideout. I say let him stay if we can't get a 3rd.

I agree that he won't be back, but if he is I think he would be productive. He does make awesome catches, when he isn't dropping ones that hit him in the numbers, that is...

If we cant trade him, and have the cap room to keep him; I say keep him. With it being a contract year, I would be willing to bet he would perform pretty well. Then we will just be smart enough to let him go after that. Him and Moss would be neck and neck as #1's if we dont draft anyone, but I just dont think we should let him walk.
