Most of it I like. Except that first pick. There is no way in hell that San Diego would give up that much for the first pick in THIS draft. Maybe in somthing like last year, but this draft class is too weak for them to be giving up somthing like that, in my opinion. If they traded anything, I'd think it'd be Phillip Rivers too. I like everything else, but I think that first trade is a big stretch.

One thing this draft does have is Wideouts and that is what they need. They have 40 mil invested in River so tradeing him would be a stretch. there is no reason both qb's to be on that team

Actually not too bad.
Although I don't think you are valuing picks very well though, I don't think there is much of a chance that KC would give us their second to move up three spots. More likely they'd give us a third maybe. The first trade too is unbalanced but there is precedence for over paying to move that high. Overall I could see all of this happening if only in a slightly different way.

Good stuff, but I doubt the asking price for the #1 overall pick would be Drew Brees, the 12th pick, a 2nd pick, and possibly a 3rd rounder. I think the Chargers would be able to get the #1 pick for Drew Brees and a 2nd rounder since there are no stars in the draft and Drew Brees is better than Alex Smith or Aaron Rodgers.

I think it's far more likely the Chargers would trade Rivers.

I don't necessarily agree. Many teams would trade their 2nd rounder to move up just a few spots in the early first round. HOWEVER, it depends on what KC's needs are and who is available at #9.

Actually, the Chargers have PLENTY of cap room to trade Rivers and most suspect that if Brees works out this year, the Chargers will be forced to trade Rivers and take the cap hit.

I wonder who would trade for Rivers with the minimal experience he had.

It might just be me, but I have to laugh a little at how that situation worked out.

The little asshole kept holding out and holding out and then another QB comes in and outperforms him.

Even though I'm sure HE'S laughing all the way to the bank...

I thought old marty liked the big arm guy's and the trade would be beneficial to both teams. something big is gonna happen on draft day I promise
