Reed Doughty is a solid guy who overcame significant adversity to be a fine contributor. Throughout his time with us he was a quality backup. May he have happiness on his journey. HTTR.
He was arguably the best Redskin on the field in our last playoff game.

Im not doubting it, just saying when a backup safety is your best player you probably dont stand a chance.

He didn't play like a backup safety. He was a stud.

Again....i realize that he played great that game. BUT if I told you Reed was going to be the best player on the field that day would you have bet more or less that we were going to win? I think that with any team in any sport your stars have to shine to win. If your role players/backups play above their heads that is a bonus. Usually it is not a recipe for success however. No offense to Willis Reed or Timmy Smith.

Willis Reed??? He was no backup. He was an injured starter who willed the Knicks to a championship way back when...
Anyway, that's how I remember it.
