Stafford throws for a ton more yardage, Romo is more accurate. I guess I just see two very capable qb's that always choke in big spots.

Stafford has CJ too, I just think Stafford is way overrated Giantone 06-05-2014, 08:18 PM People use the word "franchise QB" too loosely. He's not a franchise QB at this point and time. Period. The 49ers were just as good with Alex Smith behind the helm which shows you it wasn't the QB responsible for their winning. The only franchise QBs in this league currently are: Rodgers, Manning, Brady, Brees, Rivers, Eli, Romo, Ryan, Roethlisberger........and maybe Stafford. Others have the potential to be but simply aren't there quite yet. Fixed .........:woot: All jokes aside ,Romo,Ryan, Stafford are nothing but good QBs and their teams hope they become "franchise QBs" , until they take it to another level as the others have done all they are is good . MTK 06-05-2014, 08:59 PM A lot of these guys might not be true "franchise" guys just yet in the mold of Brady, Brees, Manning, etc. (and at one time all these guys had question marks too), but in this day and age you have to pay them and place your bet that they turn into one in the very near future. punch it in 06-05-2014, 09:13 PM Stafford has CJ too, I just think Stafford is way overrated I thought about that, but Romo has had Witten, Bryant, and Austin when he was healthy. Ehh. Efff em both. I'll be rooting for him to continue his career elsewhere, I've always thought of him as a solid backup and even though I never wanted him to be a full time starter, I do think he's one of the genuine good guys in a game that tends to undervalue those types of players. I wish him nothing but the best in whatever his future endeavors might be. Wouldn't have minded him coming back in a backup role, but it appears we've moved on too. Oh well, best of luck to him anyways. May he have happiness on his journey. HTTR. Hog1 06-05-2014, 10:37 PM Reed Doughty is a solid guy who overcame significant adversity to be a fine contributor.
