Couldn't find a better place for this and didn't want to start a new thread:

At what point does Snyder realize he's going to end up on the wrong side of history on this and change the name? NFL players asked to support Redskins name change - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/nfl-players-asked-to-support-redskins-name-change/2014/05/27/9e51326c-e5bf-11e3-afc6-a1dd9407abcf_story.html)

The discussion isn't going away and all of the press releases, letters, foundations, etc. all seem more and more hollow every day. Once sponsors start buckling he won't have a choice. ESPN and MMQB writers are starting to embrace 'Washington' or the 'Washington football team' rather than use Redskins in articles and columns. It's a matter of time before one of the major networks falls in line as well.

Snyder could make SO much more $$ by changing the name. Any current merchandise will be collectors items and any new merchandise becomes the hottest thing going. He's almost being foolish not to make the change.

Personal opinion, I don't care either way. I don't think it's as offensive as some have made it their agenda to make it seem but if it truly offends a segment of people then it should be changed.

Cowboys MLB Sean Lee was helped off the field with an apparent left knee injury on the first day of OTAs Tuesday.

A video of Lee being assisted off the practice field with a trainer on each arm is available at the link below. Per ESPN Dallas' Calvin Watkins, Lee was "swearing" after sustaining the injury, and uttered "Bleep me." Lee has been an All-Pro-caliber player when healthy through four NFL seasons, but has been on the shelf far too often. He's missed 15 games over the past two years.

Guy is like glass. Why even have him on the field in such a meaningless exercise

cooley said last week that players sometimes try to hide an offseason non-football related injury until they get to OTAs, then at some point during the first day say "owww my knee" so they can get their contract money.

this probably only applies to tears etc that you can walk and jog on and conceal to a degree.

I would personally never buy a single piece of anything if the name and logo change. Period.

I would literally pay more to have a custom redskins jersey made (knock off or not) for future players .... Only acception on the logo is the spear. I really like that too..

And many loyal fans probably would feel that way but there are tons of other people who would just buy it because it's new and will have pop culture cache. Big picture dude, it's all about the $$$.

BUFFALO BANS BON JOVI MUSIC BECAUSE FRONTMAN IS INTERESTED IN PURCHASING THE BILLS FOOTBALL FRANCHISE AND MOVING IT TO TORONTO (http://eddietrunk.com/buffalo-bans-bon-jovi-music-because-singer-may-try-to-buy-the-bills-franchise-and-move-it-to-toronto/)

This has to be the most pointless boycott of all time. I mean how many bars and resteraunts are playing Bon Jovi songs these days anyway? Thats got to be as big a commitment as boycotting Cab Calloway and Mozart songs. Apparently thousands of bars and resteraunts across the country have unknowingly been "boycotting" Bon Jovi for years now.

While I can certainly understand being upset about the possibility of moving the team all this really does is remind people that Bon Jovi exists, increasing music sales and in turn giving him more money to buy the Bills.

I don't see anywhere in the article that he said he would move the team ?

This guy for some reason reminds me of Glass Joe on Punch Out. Makes me appreciate a guy like Fletcher even that much more.
