AJ McCarron sucks

This, guys a douche bag teammate and me first player according to draft guys. If we had traded Cousins I'd have been fine with drafting Murray in the 6th, but we still need some more special teams players and depth more so than another QB.

Report: A.J. McCarron rubbed teams the wrong way in interviews | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/05/10/report-a-j-mccarron-rubbed-teams-the-wrong-way-in-interviews/?ocid=Yahoo&partner=ya5nbcs)

PFT reported that McCarron’s repeated claims that he’d been told by teams that he would be a first-round pick didn’t sit well with some talent evaluators around the league. McCarron said last month that he expected to go as high as the 16th pick and no lower than the 35th pick, but his analysis was way off unless the whole thing was an elaborate deception to assure he wound up with a particular team in the fourth round.

I love watching morons like this fall like a ton of bricks. Put that ego in check. Only people probably telling him this load of crap are agents and tv analysts. I want to see the guy who told him he'd go as high as 16.....LOL

It was Gordon's 3rd offense, not second.

It's not just about getting caught smoking weed, it's about not following the rules that 99.5% of the players can without any problems. Cooley has said on his show, that everyone knows when the tests are coming. So most players just stay clean for the test, and go back to normal after. It's not like your asking the guy to get a perfect SAT score.

Btw, what's up with UDFA signings (or lack thereof)? I see tHe raiders signed Skov from Stanford. Would have been a nice pickup.

Until proven otherwise I'm going to call Manziel, Johnny Leaf instead. I'm pretty sure all you guys have seen the pictures from last night where he got absolutely smashed
http://content.clearchannel.com/cc-common/mlib/2135/05/2135_1399651655.jpg

Honestly it just reminds me so much of the Ryan Leaf stories from back when he was drafted.
But Leaf showed up for the scouting combine overweight and claimed that he’d be heading off to Las Vegas if he was taken first overall. Manning, meanwhile, told the Colts that he’d spend the next fifteen years kicking their butts if he went anywhere else, and Polian and Mora wisely selected Manning. Leaf was the NFL’s most incendiary bust, while Manning is on his way to his third Super Bowl — not with the Colts, but it’s safe to say that the organic choice of Manning turned Indy’s franchise around.

IIRC the impression of Leaf at his introductory press conference in San Diego among the media was that he was clearly hung over.

Now I'm not against partying but dammit don't do it the night you get drafted at a place where people you clearly don't know or shouldn't trust are going to take pictures of you getting hammered then sell them off to TMZ. Granted I'm not an expert, repeat not an expert, on addiction but I think its pretty safe to say that Manziel is a raging alcoholic. I mean you got the bar fight back in Austin, missed the Manning passing camp session because he was hungover, and then theres actually this pretty awesome story from his High School days.

Remember This About Johnny Manziel: His Dad Bought Him a New Car For Staying Away From Alcohol in High School | The Big Lead (http://thebiglead.com/2013/07/30/remember-this-about-johnny-manziel-his-dad-bought-him-a-new-car-for-staying-away-from-alcohol-in-high-school/)
His father made him a deal: he would buy Manziel a new car if he stayed away from alcohol during his junior and senior years in high school. One summer night, Manziel went to Wal-Mart to buy a phone charger, the security guard smelled alcohol and the police were called.
Manziel denied he had been drinking but was taken to jail. The next day, his father picked him up, sold the car and replaced it with a busted pickup truck that would repeatedly break down on the way to school. He refused to pay the fine for his son, and when the judge sentenced Manziel to 10 hours of community service, John Paul said: Make it 20.

Then of course I'm sure most of you have heard this wonderful omen:
Homeless man anecdote creates impression Haslam influenced Manziel pick | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/05/09/homeless-man-anecdote-creates-impression-haslam-influenced-manziel-pick/)
After Cleveland moved up from 26 to 22 to get Johnny Manziel, Paolantonio explained on the air that owner Jimmy Haslam became convinced the fans in Cleveland wanted Manziel after a homeless man said to the owner, “Draft Manziel.”
