Somebody's got to be #3.

I think Colt can push Cousins. Still a young guy, really nice #3 imo.

This would motivate me to put out feelers on Cousins around draft time to see if we could land a 2nd or multi picks like a 3rd and 5th.

I endorse this post.

Cousins' main value is that he is young. This does not benefit us nearly as much as it would a team looking for a franchise QB. We should turn that benefit into a player who will see the field rather than hold a clipboard.

And should RGIII get hurt, McCoy is as good (and as bad) of a substitute. McCoy also has considerable starting experience.

McCoy for career:
58.3 comp. %
21-20 TD-Int
74.9 QBR

Cousins for career:
56.2 comp. %
8-10 TD-Int
68.6 QBR

McCoy's numbers are better.

Not a fan of the guy. I guess someone has to be the #3 so I'm not really complaining. I just don't think he's any good.

It's funny how physically Colt and RG3 are basically the same size, but Colt comes off as so much smaller. He plays smaller than his size.

He's got the inside track to be the #2 guy, they just need to find a suitable trade partner for KC

Are we looking picks or player for trade?

Too bad Jordan Shipley tore up his knee so bad and retired from the NFL. We could've signed him and reunited the college duo. "78 yards on the pass play...from McCoy to Shipley!" Those two were great in college.
