Looking at possible Kirk Cousins trade partners: When you talk about this you have to talk about the teams who will possibly draft a QB in the first round: Texans, Cleveland , Jags, and Minny. I think the Raiders could make the mistake of drafting Carr first round too. 3 QBs for 4 teams.

Also you got to look at other teams who may want competition at the QB spot: the Titans, Rams, Bills

Any others?

In looking at all this, at the Browns I dont think Kyle Shanny was a big fan of Cousins, Im thinking Manziel as a possibilty. Texans probably leaning toward Bortles. Minny im giving Bridgewater. And the Jags are going with Clowney.

The Raiders either take Carr in the top ten (huge mistake) or are the trade partner to move up to our pick at 34 to take him.

The Titans with a new regime could go QB at 11.

Alot to think about, but there are some options for trade partners

I could see the browns trading back from their #4 pick for an additional 2nd or 3rd round pick then offering it to us for Cousins, KC still has two years left on rookie contract.

There's no need for the Browns to do that because they have two first round picks (#4 and #28), two third round picks, and two fourth round picks, plus all of their other picks. They could easily trade for Cousins with the picks they have now.

I'd use the #4 pick to select a player if I were the Browns because they should get a ten-year stud in that spot in this draft.

I watched several Bengals games and they were throwing the ball down the field a lot. Besides, they just signed one of the best deep threats in the game.

People love stats around here. I dismiss some of those numbers because the last game was in a monsoon. Against Dallas there were several drops. We don't win the division in 12 w/out Cousins. Like Griffin, he has things he needs to work on.

Just not a fan of McCoy as a back up for this offense. There's a good chance the backup will play here since Griffin takes a lot of hits. I was hoping we bring in Vick or even Jason Campbell lol.

Yes, Cincy did throw the ball down field despite having a QB not noted for arm strength. That was my point. In Jay Gruden's offense, you don't have to have a strong arm to make big plays. Hence Colt McCoy could be a good fit.

This is a just in case signing. No way he's suiting up, unless Cousins gets traded in the draft. Or God forbid Griffin blows his knee out for a 3rd time.

I think signing Colt McCoy was a good move.....he has more starting experience than Kirk Cousins.....it's the GM's job to make sure every position on the team has solid depth......take into account that Cousins didn't play well enough to get warrant a second round pick.......no one can say that Cousins is better than McCoy....
