SirLK26 04-04-2014, 07:18 PM As far as WR corps go, only Atlanta boasts a better 1/2/3 punch than Garcon, DJax, and Roberts. Chicago has a better 1/2 but is their 3 better than Roberts??
I think we're grading a little bit differently. I was grading the WR groups as a whole. But it looks like you're comparing the #1's, then the #2's, then the #3's. Chicago's WR corps as a whole, for example, is far superior to ours. Brandon Marshall is an elite NFL WR, superior to Garcon; and Alshon Jeffery is an absolute beast, superior to DeSean Jackson. Our #3, Andre Roberts, is better than their #3(who is it anyway?), but Marshall and Jeffery are so good that Chicago's WR corps is still better. My two cents...
Lotus 04-04-2014, 07:25 PM If you're grading WR groups. IMO you have to take into account the QB, you have Cleveland on that list who's there QB.
It will be Rex Grossman. Unleash the Dragon!
TexSkins 04-04-2014, 07:46 PM Houston has little support, Hopkins is not better than Jackson and Andre Johnson has regressed the last two seasons. I think you are overvaluing their overall group a bit.
No way Dre regressed the past two seasons. Check the stats.

While I agree with the fact that Chicago has a better all around corp, I was grading as a whole, and I have us 3rd behind the Bears and Falcons
NYCskinfan82 04-04-2014, 07:48 PM Watching D. Jax's interview on ESPN, his eyes getting red like he's going to cry. Barring injury he's going to BEAST it this season.
CRedskinsRule 04-04-2014, 08:02 PM I seriously hope this is all more than the past year's offseason wins. I know it absolutely seems like we got a set WR corps, but a part of me is starting to feel the winning the offseason vibe (even I know it's done a different way then we used to).

From the interview, I see a motivated individual, a guy with a chip and someone who is going to work hard to erase some of his past mistakes. People have questioned how well out locker room can handle DJax, there I also don't think it will be much of a problem. We have a good group of guys.
This whole deal is going to be awesome for the Skins.

As a whole it's hard to put the Broncos under us with Welker, Thomas, Sanders + Manning. Also think if Nicks returns to form, him, Wayne, Hilton + Luck are pretty darn good.
I think we're all honeymooning a little bit. I'm happy we're in the conversation though that's for sure.

Regressed was a bad choice of a word, but even though he still Had 100 catches there were a few times that he looked 32, not enough to really worry you but anyways.

I dont think Sanders is that good and I was stricktly talking about WRs, I dont include the QB or the Line with the comparisons, and yes the Colts group could be dangerous as well.
