Am I the only one that would be ecstatic about this. He would make our offense so dynamic. He'd be rg3's new Kendall wright from college. Put some clauses in the contract that he can void and we lose nothing if any of these reports about gang affiliation are true. If we do this we no longer need to worry about taking Jordan Matthews or Benjamin at 34 and can draft a big wr in round 3 or 4 then at 34 we can take best player available whether it be Jimmie ward, Ryan shazier, or a right tackle. If our next month and a half worked out like that I'd be so pumped lol
That might work if no on else was interested in him. If he's willing to take less and/or an incentive-laden contract just for the opportunity to stick it to his former team twice a year, then maybe. Otherwise, pass.

Hell yes we need to sign him. Sorry folks but he's a beast on the field and maybe a change of teams would help him

1. Teams don't win Super Bowls because of high-priced Wide Receivers
2. A bidding war between the Redskins and Raiders. Nuff said.
3. Ex-Eagles in Washington (after the 70's)
4. He's a straight up thug who dropped the ball at the 1 yard line twice.
True, but it is just ONE guy. It's not like we've been throwing our money away. We've played conservative all FA so far.
As long as we don't break the bank, I think 1 splashy signing per season isn't horrible.
Plus, you're using that word thug...

The guy's not a thug. Is he arrogant and possibly a dickhead? Definitely. Thug... Not so much. Especially since there's no link to definite gang activity.
Aaron Hernandez. Now there's a thug.

Meanwhile Hall is one of the biggest advocates for signing him.
I know. My Facebook feed is going crazy with that. And that may be true at the moment. But when one of them blows a play, I think you may potentially see a situation develop.

Then I guess Sean Taylor was a thug too..a lot of people called him that also when he played. The guy definitely has some work ethic issues, also the Raiders can pay more than us, but IMO that would be worst spot for him to go. I don't care either way if we can sign to a decent deal and not overpay I am fine with that or they can not sign him dont really care. He isn't a top tier CB or S, so doesn't really matter how many points we score.

He'll probably end up a Raider since he grew up a fan and they have the money he wants.

OK, possibly a dickhead works for me. He's going to be expensive and we already have a guy making #1 WR money. Just don't see the best teams tying up a lot of cap money in the WR position and our Offense was prolific just 2 seasons ago with the same personnel we already have. If he were an equally talented Right Tackle, I'd be all for it.

Do you guys understand how hard it is to find a WR like this? Premier player at a premier position. Worth a 4-5m cap number this year, hands down. Do it.

What about 6-7 if it took that?
