Didn't people think we were going to release him?
Details of the deal haven't been released yet.

Not too surprising, I guess. They hinted that he would be resigned.
He's versatile and fast, so on a cheap 1 year deal, I like it.
Can't release him if he wasn't under contract to begin with.
Either way, he's fine for what he is. I don't love or hate the move.

I am not sure where he played most of last season, if he begins the off-season as a free safety he might be decent.

I don't like this move at all, primarily because the guy can't tackle. I'm tired of watching him get run over. Surely, there must be some FA DB who can do what he does and also tackle well.
The Skins get a mid-term grade of D from me on their efforts to sign FA DB's. Tracy Porter might help a little. Other than that signing, we haven't improved the secondary at all.

With a better pass rush our DB's might look a lot better IMO.

Probably a minimum salary deal, and probably not a lock to make the roster. Doesn't move the needle one way or another, there's no reason to love it or hate it.
