I like this for emotional reasons. Not so much for football reasons. But the Monday Night Miracle means I'll always welcome him.

Hopefully the cost was not high.

Santana Moss signs with the Redskins for a one year deal worth 6.2 million, 5 million guaranteed, 1.2 in incentives.

I don't agree with the price but I've always had a soft spot for Moss. I don't want him to be anything more than a 4th wideout on this team though, he had a bad year last year and at his age I'm not confident in his ability to bounce back.

Heck, yeah! Tons of good news today. Now if only these "sources on Twitter" would announce that Alterraun Verner was signed for 4 or 5 years...:joecool:

Although if the 6 million price tag is right, that is a bit steep.

Just waiting for peoples heads to explode at the price! Noone took the bait though. Im sure its more along the lines of 1.5-2.5 mil considering his vet status and his subpar year last year. If Santana gets 6.2, I will lose all faith in this front office right off the bat!

Yeah, that price would be ridiculous.

I did a double take on the price, then I noticed the source.

If we have a plan for a true #2 receiver (Hankerson? draft?) we could have a fairly potent air attack next year.

1) Garcon
2) ?
3) Roberts
4) Moss

Moss can get it done as a #4 receiver.
