Yea, great resign. He was reportedly wanting up to $7M, but I guess during this tampering period he got to feel out the value put on him by others and decided he is best to come back to the Skins and start.

At $4.3MM/yr. this is a good deal for both sides, IMO.

Agree. I would like to see us get the veteran leadership of Dansby now, or possibly wait and see what Rolando Mclain does with Ravens and if he hits FA maybe signed him for dirt and see if he can live up to potential. Low Risk/High Reward.

Fair price. Perry couldn't have done better on the open market, which I'm sure he determined after 3 days of open contact with other teams. And with it being only three years, he gets to prove to everyone that he's worthy of a bigger payday before he gets too old.

At this price tag, he's a starter next year. I think he's more of a reserve in terms of skill, but with one ILB (Keenan Robinson) under contract, it's a compromise. We'll pay you more than you're worth because we need you next year more than the other teams do.

Doesn't seem like a significant commitment and his return helps the special teams more than it hurts the defense.

No doubt, true. I think it needed to be done under the circumstances. Thankfully, it didn't hurt much in the pocketbook.
