It is just extremely mind numbing that these two psychos can be in such powerful positions in the world. Hopefully Putin catches a bullet in his face, and Trump gets locked up so that the world can exhale.

The U.S. more than doubled its crude oil imports from Russia, to about 208,000 barrels a day in the first 11 months of 2021, from 76,000 barrels a day in 2020.

Trumps sanctions on Venezuela in 2019 forced America’s hands to turn to Russia. Coincidence of course that Trump helped Russia. Again.

Read what it says in the supposed fact check:
The most recent data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration shows that the U.S. increased its oil imports from Russia by about 28% in the first 11 months of 2021.
The U.S. did double the amount of crude oil imported from Russia last year. But Russia accounts for only about 3% of overall U.S. crude oil imports in 2021.
The U.S. more than doubled its crude oil imports from Russia, to about 208,000 barrels a day in the first 11 months of 2021, from 76,000 barrels a day in 2020.
Politofact is liberal operation which purposely spreads misinformation. They bury the facts in the article
Comrade Biden has doubled crude oil imports in 2021 from Russia

You are completely ignoring why. Lol. Trump sanctioned Venezuela and forced big oil companies to turn to Russia.
Russia became a more significant source of oil for the U.S. after the U.S. placed economic sanctions on Venezuela in 2019. In the absence of oil from Venezuela, U.S. oil companies turned to Russia for supplies.
But let’s ignore that, and everything else that Trump has done for Russia, because you know fake news, witch hunt, dems are commies (while the extreme right chants Putin at white nationalist meetings.)

There is a vast distance between imposing sanctions on February 21st and "boots on the ground" It is not an either or argument. We have evidence the sanctions are working. Wanting a harder line by the EU and the U.S. does not equal support for Trump nor support for boots on the ground.

Biden has also restricted permits, banned fracking, stopped the keystone pipeline, etc. The previous administration had set records for avg record daily oil extraction and for the first time in 50 years! US had become an energy exporter.
Biden natural gas and gas prices have sky rocketed due to his energy policy as well has contributed to his record inflation numbers
Comrade Biden has begged opec to pump more foreign oil to make up for his failed energy policies and resorted to financially supporting a dictator in Russia with doubling crude oil imports.
What a disgrace. No wonder this country sees him as a failure
