I agree with Drift, you can use a name as a quality indicator to some extent.
Except mine. Mine is purely descriptive as both Brud and Riggo44 can attest.

my bad for the negative feedback daseal, you just have moronic posts... "now dont take it personal" its your football knowledge, not you as a person....
and offiss, lol, i think you fall under the same category of knowledge, but its just MO... "dont take it personal" ... the giants had marshall at DE that corrupted OT's with LT which was a DE most of the time... if you actually watch the games back then, you would see parcells using a 5-2 D... with marshall and LT on opposite sides. LT just didnt come out of stance, but was on the line majority of the time, whether he rushed or fell into coverage
lets go look at your post and see how much knowledge you have, that post acomplished nothing bitch!

I have to say that is as uninformed of a post as I have seen yet, something tells me you are a legend in your own mind!
Now I will straighten you out about a couple of your ridiculous fallasies you have perpetrated in this thread, Parcells always used a 3-4 D, and he alway's lined Marshall and Taylor on the same side, how do I know, I live 30 minutes from Giant's stadium and have watched them through the years more than the Skins, the fact is Parcells philosphy is to line up his best pass rushers on the same side because they are tougher to account for, therefore they are tougher to stop, essentially going from a 3-4 to a 4-3 on passing downs where he would blitz Taylor 95% of the time. At no time did Parcells ever show a 5 man front, something tells me you didn't even know Parcells used a 3-4 D which is how I believe you came up with the 5-2 assuming taylor's presents as a blitzing OLB gave you the 5th linemen. Perhaps you should be the one who actually needs to watch some game film MY FRIEND, and stop trying to overwhelm everyone with your ignorance!

jrocx69, if you're going to insult others like this why don't you just go where you belong over with extemeskins...you'll fit right in there. this site is for civilized people...yeah we disagree on pretty much everything but when you do it in a civilized manner you actually can gain more knowledge from it.
and if you are going to insult someone at least check a dictionary so that you don't end up looking like an ass....that one backfired on you bigtime don't you think?

"Marshall joined the Giants as a second-round draft choice in 1983 (the 37th overall pick) after a stellar career at LSU. Taylor was entering his third season. The Giants then played a 3-4 defense and Marshall and Taylor often lined up next to each other on the right side. In the decade they played together, the two stalwarts combined for 198.5 sacks."
Score one for Offiss...game, set, match!

Yes our d-line is horrible.
But some geniuses on this site would rather us take a CB with the overall 9 pick than address our grand canyon d-line.
How logical.
Our "horrible" d-line gave up a league low average yards per carry (3.1) against the run last year.
That "horrible" d-line was also responsible for giving up just 81.5 yards per game against the run, 2nd overall in the NFL.
If that's horrible I'll take that any day.
So who's the real "genius" around here?
