#21 is Kam Chancellor's role model:

Kam Chancellor motivated by Sean Taylor highlights - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/60625/chancellor-motivated-by-taylor-highlights)

Thats awesome, Chancellor is an effing beast. Super aggressive hitter, not Taylor-level, but you can see how he models after Sean.

Yeah, Sean inspired a lot of players.

Kenny Phillips is another wearing #21 because of Taylor, who would be a great player if he could stay healthy.

more than 6 years after his murder, florida finally got their act together.

in 2010 florida DA asked for a continuance of the trial so "they could interview more witnesses". memory fades and change over time. wtf were you doing for the past 3 to 4 years?

WTF are you doing or not doing florida? 4 years after a high profile person is murdered you still have to interview witnesses? in an open and shut case?

florida is one backwards ass broken state.

never get murdered in florida.

i know this trial wasnt for me or my sense of justice or closure but i feel totally empty and apathetic to finally having 1 conviction.

i hope the taylor family can use this verdict in a positive manner and help find some closure.

rip mr. taylor.

Yeah, why not save money by denying the human rights that George Washington and others fought for.

Sarcasm aside, your comment is pointless. Executions are FAR more expensive than life in prison, and that is the operative fact. It's the near endless cycle of appeals of the death sentence, that are more expensive than life imprisonment. Not the execution itself. Correct?

And it's a disgrace that since the Sean Taylor murder, we had the Zimmerman incident and that trial begin and end, and three of the scum involved in the Taylor murder still haven't been tried.

That is correct, although it is not an endless cycle of appeals but more often just one automatic appeal. Life in prison in maximum security costs the state about $800,000 total. Legal bills for death penalty cases run in the $3-4 million range for each case.
