Roger Goodell says NFL considering eliminating extra pointFRPLG 01-22-2014, 02:49 PM why does anyone care about the PAT? The "it's part of the game" reasoning is lazy. Lotus 01-22-2014, 02:53 PM And the PAT not useless; 2003 Saints and John Carney ring a bell with anyone? I believe that Saints fans everywhere remember that PAT very much. I live in Saintsland and you are correct. Saints fans clearly remember and lament that PAT. But that was 10 years ago! I see no reason to sit through a gajillion boring PAT's because ten years ago the PAT had an effect on just one game. Monkeydad 01-22-2014, 03:03 PM Not eliminate, but replace. I'm all for it since they're basically automatic. CRedskinsRule 01-22-2014, 03:13 PM saw an interesting suggestion, put a narrower set of post right behind the current ones. and xp's would need to go through them. not quite sure of the logistics but it is an interesting/out of the box idea artmonkforhallofamein07 01-22-2014, 03:39 PM :laughing2 you ballin son! When you get paged, i bet you hit a pay phone to return the call. They still have those?! MTK 01-22-2014, 03:42 PM They still have those?! They do in Cleveland ysmLA5TqbIY artmonkforhallofamein07 01-22-2014, 03:42 PM They should consider it, and I for one am still undecided one way or the other. mredskins 01-22-2014, 03:48 PM I am for it one less thing the Redskins can fuck up in a game.We need all the help we can get. irish 01-22-2014, 03:52 PM They still have those?! They have them in hotels, airports, and in DC's subway system. They arent everywhere like they used to be but they arent extinct either. You just have to know where to find them. MTK 01-22-2014, 03:54 PM I just heard that extra points have a success rate of 99.1% since 2004. So again why is anyone objectively against changing up a play that's become almost automatic? |
