Why? Wasn't Kelly a rookie HC last year too??
Maybe he doesn't reach those numbers but to think he can't post very productive numbers here is just crazy.
Yeah, he won't put up 82-1332-9, because Kelly's offense makes players look better than they really are(Foles), but to think he can't put up good numbers is crazy. 65-1000-5 is very realistic.
Also, not sure how Mr. Watkins came to the conclusion that Dallas' receiver corps is better than ours. He wrote that, "Bryant and Williams are an emerging force that's going to be difficult to stop on a consistent basis within the division." Fair enough, but Garcon is a great receiver too, even if not as good as Bryant, and DeSean Jackson is far better than Williams. And as of right now, the WRs behind Garcon/Jackson are much, much better than those behind Bryant/Williams. His only argument that "proved" that Dallas' corps is better was when he listed Bryant's stats against Philly versus Jackson's stats against Dallas. Dafuq? Another of his rationales: "Terrance Williams, as a rookie, had a four-game stretch with at least one receiving touchdown and his speed makes him a big-play threat." Did he forget to mention that we have the guy who is possibly the best deep threat in the game?
The thinking behind that article is lacking a bit, to say the least.

Well Gruden never has made his receivers very effective...

ok, well, Gruden's never worked with a young qb and gotten him to produce...

ok weeelllll, Gruden never has coached a whole team before and had success...

Yup, doesn't make much sense to dismiss DJax performance-wise like that.

Comparing a second year talent with Dez Bryant to Garcon and Jackson doesn't really add up for me. I would take our two over those two any day.

I usually hate to read the comments on PFT website, but this one is worth repeating:

Rather have a QB designing a logo than assaulting women.

The smart money is to bet against the Redskins in situations like this. Therefore the Redskins don't have the best anything until they prove it on the field and I'm perfectly fine with that in all honesty.

Keeping the honesty theme going, cowboys have the biggest choker at qb in the history of the league.
