crabtree is a great WR. his college numbers were ridiculous, and i'm sure (barring injury problems) his career will bear that out.

That Guy 01-21-2014, 05:37 PM crabtree is a great WR. his college numbers were ridiculous, and i'm sure (barring injury problems) his career will bear that out. skinsfaninok 01-21-2014, 05:51 PM Idk he avg like 50 catches a yr and only has 22 tds. He's been in the league a while now TheMalcolmConnection 01-21-2014, 05:55 PM I give Richard Sherman credit. I think he IS the best corner in the league. He talks a lot of smack, but he backs it up with his play on the field. I'd love to have someone on the 'skins defense with his talent. For me, there's just no excusing that kind of behavior. Before Revis's injury, HE was the best corner in the league, but what did he do? Go out and make plays. For Sherman, it's definitely "where there's smoke, there's fire" situation. He's constantly, CONSTANTLY around controversy whether it be someone punching him in the face, someone getting up in his face, or running his mouth at the end of a game. I'm positive Crabtree isn't the innocent victim in this, but hey, after being interviewed, he said, "He's a TV guy, that ain't me." I'm just ultra bothered by how the FIRST THING he said when interviewed was that he was the best in the NFL. HE was, not the pass rush that helped him, hell, NOT EVEN THE GUY WHO CAUGHT THE DAMN INT. Sure, he back-peddled and did some damage control giving credit to his teammates, blah blah blah, but when I see a me-first player, it's always going to be obvious. Regardless of talent, he's not someone I'd want on this team. Deion was a damn Teletubby compared to him and even with the promise of Deion prior to the 2000 debacle, I was not going to cheer for someone like that. A ton of people applaud his "confidence", and sure the Skins have people who will do a gesture here and there after a play, but I've never seen anyone to his level in years (if ever). Just a total piece of work. I hope the Broncos eat his ass alive. MTK 01-21-2014, 05:56 PM Idk he avg like 50 catches a yr and only has 22 tds. Dexter did the same kind thing stuff, although not to Sherman's level. Plus sticking a microphone in front of a player after an emotional game is stupid. Chico23231 01-22-2014, 11:54 AM I thought this was interesting driving into work today. I caught Mary Kay Cabot on the Dan Patrick show who covers the Browns for the Plain Dealer paper, which she's done for a long time apparently. All her responses to Dan's questions about the coaching search and front office were well thought out and gave a good perspective of the whys and hows for the front office actions. Not only that, but her responses were positive about the situation and still neutral in her personal opinion of the FO. I rarely hear that these days from the media, and I listen carefully. I was very impressed. The entire DC media could take a lesson from her and Cleveland situation seem much much worse. skinsfaninok 01-22-2014, 11:55 AM I thought this was interesting driving into work today. She's also been on ESPN for the browns, she's really good Chico23231 01-22-2014, 12:02 PM She's also been on ESPN for the browns, she's really good Wow didnt know that. Usually if ESPN is associated in any way with a DP guest, Dan takes his customary and a bit obnoxious mothership shots. Monkeydad 01-22-2014, 02:58 PM If Sherman were a Redskin we'd all love the guy. I guess you liked Michael Westbrook too. calia 01-22-2014, 03:02 PM Sherman's a classless idiot. He's talented, to be sure, but a complete jerk. I hope Peyton lights him up for 5 TDs. Let's not forget the trash-talking that inspired TW to smack him in the mouth after last year's wild card game. I dislike the Seahawks a lot. |
