It wasn't a good throw, but that doesn't mean it was uncatchable. But I thought Edelman could have made a play on the ball but wasn't given a chance. That to me is PI.
That play should have been illegal contact. The patriots did get away with that.
It was a PI, but they've been allowing that play to go on the whole game. If you don't call it early, don't call it late. It's about consistency. They set the tone early on with the no calls, so they need to stay with it. Of all the calls, that one in particular was lame b/c of how underthrown it was.
Yet, they sit there and allowed a NE defender to take down a Indy WR and no call. That's not consistent.
