Keim talking about Jackson in DC. I certainly think we are interested, looks like DJ already has a meeting set up with a team today.
As Keim says I’d be surprised if the Redskins aren’t interested. Just makes sense given the connection with our new LB coach and our need at ILB.

His agent has a lot of clients on the team, maybe they'll have some influence?

Really couldnt think of a better guy to come in and take London's place. Same position, a strong leader, and a guy who is productive. Folks, Jackson is near the top of my FA list.

i think i agree, if rak wants 10+mill per, maybe letting him walk would be a better move... or franchise him and see what he can do this season. part of the issue is he's a top dog in this year's pass rush market, and the perception of how good he is nationally is probably higher than what we've seen locally. if next year is a softer market, we can get a cheaper deal, and we also buy a year to try and talk him into something reasonable.
apparently he wants 12-13mill/per, which is... no thanks.

With the cap going up to 130-132 million, I have no problem paying a top OLB his money. Plus we need the dude.
Let's get our eat defensive player locked up long term and worry about the rest later.
Think about it like this: if in three years out top paid players are III, Trent Williams, and Rak then we are doing things right.

Agreed - that would be the model.

Not at 12-13mil/yr.
