I'd rather commit to Riley at 25 than Jackson at 30.
Why does it have to be a choice? Last I checked we could use another inside backer.

Yeah, I don't get the Jackson vs. Riley argument. We would need both. NYCskinfan82 02-26-2014, 06:26 PM It would look nice ILB's - Riley, Robinson (if he can stay healthy), Jackson & Yawin Smallwood (I know he has to be drafted). What do you think? tc2deuce 02-26-2014, 06:30 PM I want Perry Riley as target A and then draft Skov but if Riley demands too much we could go with DQJ and Spikes in the middle. Irrefutable 02-26-2014, 06:30 PM Jackson should cost a lot less than Riley, and probably sign a 2 or 3 year contract. I do not want Riley back at any price, draft someone, or sign a free agent. tc2deuce 02-26-2014, 06:38 PM O-Line---Michael Oher/Alex Mack/Wade Smith ? CRedskinsRule 02-26-2014, 06:48 PM I don't understand why some are so willing to let Riley walk. Yeah the price has to be right, but here is a solid guy, who we drafted, has done everything asked, and been at the least solid. He, to me, is the very definition "keeping our own". You know what? You are refutable. Riley is a good player and he's getting better. I wouldn't mind picking up Jackson, though. tc2deuce 02-26-2014, 06:49 PM I don't understand why some are so willing to let Riley walk. Don't get it either. People preach about developing our own talent, but then always have their eyes on everyone else's talent. Doesn't make much sense to me to let a 25 year old LB who has played well in our system walk. |
