So with Has back in the fold I would expect Rak not to be going anywhere.
If I was Rak, I wouldn't come back to play the same scheme.

jamf 01-19-2014, 12:42 AM So with Has back in the fold I would expect Rak not to be going anywhere. If I was Rak, I wouldn't come back to play the same scheme. MTK 01-19-2014, 12:43 AM I'm more surprised about Haslett being kept than disappointed. I'd agree redskins5044 01-19-2014, 12:48 AM If I was Rak, I wouldn't come back to play the same scheme. Goodbye then, he has a lot of years to prove himself. You can recall all his stats but tell what game of meaning he played well in, he is probably more of a 4-3 DE, but been a LB since he has been in the NFL. If he can get a 10 mil a year contact then see ya later. jamf 01-19-2014, 01:07 AM I would like to take the wait and see approach with this team but I am getting increasingly more concerned that no one has any idea of what they are doing at Redskins park. The hires scream good ole boy network to me. I get the feeling Gruden was Bruces guy from day one and all the other interviews were a formality. Jay didn't have the stones to fire Haslett because Haslett hired him in the arena league and the Wes Wilson hire kills me, another coaches son. basically a guy who got a job in the NFL when his dad was HC of Dallas and lets not forget, he comes from dallas! This looks like the "good ole boy network" at it's finest. Allen has a history with Jon G at Oakland and Tampa, it's clear he is trying to recapture that with the latest Gruden. Unfortunately it feels like he hired a bunch of drinking buddies and said "hey let's see if we can go win some games". Bruce Allen hired his friends and I feel his friends aren't the best coaching options available. I am trying so hard to be optimistic but I fearful we are doomed for another 4 years of heart ache. I just can't trust a guy with Vinny Cerrato eyes. http://florida.arrests.org/mugs/Hillsborough/2005/05059795.jpghttp://www.blogcdn.com/www.aolnews.com/media/2008/01/vinny-cerrato-012308.jpg jamf 01-19-2014, 01:10 AM Goodbye then, he has a lot of years to prove himself. I don't see why he would want to stay on a team that uses him as a coverage linebacker. He should be used like Mathis in Indy. and you're right, he is non existent against good left tackles. skinsfaninok 01-19-2014, 01:15 AM Goodbye then, he has a lot of years to prove himself. Yeah it seems like Rak always starts balling when we r way out of the playoff race, of course it doesnt help we have sucked most of his yrs redskins5044 01-19-2014, 01:58 AM Hey I'm the guy who posted that stat that he has 4.5 career sacks against the NFC east and 0 against Dallas. Let him be just a rushing LB or DE in a 4-3...he has one move...don't over pay him...not saying he can be replaced right away but be I wouldn't overpay him. Let's give it a chance my friend. I am all for Jay bringing in good coaches and keeping good coaches that he feels comfortable working with...drinking buddies or not...preferably drinking buddies...:) jamf 01-19-2014, 11:58 AM I'm comparing their eyes! Schneed10 01-19-2014, 12:27 PM I'm comparing their eyes! I know they're dreamy but come on now, let's behave like men up in here. |
