McVay is OC, according to confirmation by Keim.

I also read in the Post the Byner is interviewing for the RB coach position.

Horton would be a great choice.

You think ? One of the worst RZ defense's in the league

I would like to have a guy like Ken Norton Jr be our Defensive Coordinator. He is nasty and I have heard him talk, sounds like an intelligent guy. He runs a 4-3, which makes him a real dark horse. But this is the kind of guy we need coaching our defense.

I have beating the Ken Norton Jr. drum for a couple months now. But I guess we are going to have to watch Ole Jimmy look silly on the sidelines for another year.

All are defensive stats:

Redskins - 18th in YPG allowed, 27th in YPP allowed, 30th in PPG allowed

Browns - 9th in YPG allowed, 3rd in YPP allowed, 23rd in PPG allowed

Considering the current choice seems to be Haslett (Status Quo), yeah Horton would be a good option. Yeah, their red zone defense wasn't great, but comparatively..................

Plus, according to (NFL Football Stats - NFL Team Opponent Red Zone Scoring Percentage (TD only) on TeamRankings.com (http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-red-zone-scoring-pct)), Cleveland RedZone TD scoring percetage was 64 percent, ours was 63.33. If those two things are equal, wouldn't you want the team that allows less yards (and less red zone trips) overall?

I think it's only a matter of time before Norton gets his chance.

Just saw on twitter we interviewed Ben Kotwica Special Teams coordinator of the Jets. He has an interesting story. I like the idea of him here.

Yeah man, that guy coaches those players with passion. Like a Greg Williams or a Rex Ryan. That's what our defense needs.
